The PKCELL 23A 12V battery is a cylindrical alkaline manganese-dioxide cell for keyfobs, doorbells, and wireless sensors. It measures 27.5 to 28.5 mm in height with a 9.5 to 10.5 mm diameter. The stacked 12V construction delivers roughly 50 mAh when discharged through 20 kΩ to a 6.0V cutoff.

Discharge testing runs 24 hours per day at 20°C. Initial average duration reaches 105 hours, and cells stored 12 months still reach 94.5 hours. Open-circuit voltage reads 12.20V fresh and 12.0V after a year on the shelf. Closed-circuit voltage settles at 11.0V initially and 10.50V after storage.

Construction meets the IEC 60086-1 and IEC 60086-2 reference standards. The sealed jacket contains no mercury, cadmium, or lead, so spent cells go into general waste.
