The OS2 LC-LC Patch Cord is a duplex single mode assembly for 1310 nm and 1550 nm links. Two LC/UPC connectors terminate a 9/125 µm OS2 fiber pair. Insertion loss holds at 0.3 dB or below per mated pair.
UPC-polished zirconia ceramic ferrules return loss of 50 dB or better. Attenuation measures 0.36 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.22 dB/km at 1550 nm. The assembly carries 10G, 40G and 100G duplex single mode traffic to the full standard distance. A tight-buffered core keeps the two fibers aligned through the run.
A 2.0 mm LSZH jacket suits high-density trays and 1U enclosures. Minimum bend radius is 10 mm under load. Operating temperature spans -20 °C to 70 °C. The yellow sheath separates single mode runs from orange multimode cabling at a glance.
