CRS354 48G Non-PoE Switch
The MikroTik CRS354-48G RM model (CRS354-48G-4S+2Q+RM) is the non-PoE Cloud Router Switch in the CRS354 family. It provides 48 Gigabit copper ports, four 10G SFP+ cages, and two 40G QSFP+ cages in 1RU. Use it where access ports do not need power and you still want 10G/40G aggregation. Dual-boot RouterOS and SwOS match the PoE sibling (CRS354-48P). Do not order this SKU if cameras or APs must draw PoE from the switch.
Additionally, dropping PoE reduces heat and PSU size versus the 48P chassis. Therefore this 48G unit is the cleaner leaf for servers, workstations, and already-powered devices. However, the copper ports are still 1G, not 2.5G or 10GBASE-T. Consequently, keep 10G and 40G on the fibre/DAC cages. QSFP+ breakout behaviour follows RouterOS support for this silicon.
