Description
USB Audio for Softphone and Desk Terminals
The Logitech PC960 USB headset plugs into a USB-A port and presents as a standard audio device. It carries a noise-cancelling boom microphone for softphone and web conferencing. The 2.4 m cable lets the user stand and stretch during long calls.
Each earcup holds a 30 mm driver rated 18 Hz to 20 kHz at 32 Ω input impedance. The 6 mm electret condenser microphone covers 60 Hz to 20 kHz with 2.2 kΩ output impedance. A red LED on the boom confirms mute state.
The headband slides and the boom rotates upward on the left side. Swivel-mounted ultra-foam cushions sit flat for storage. Total weight is 120 g with cable. Rated operation spans 0 °C to 40 °C at 10% to 90% relative humidity.

Why Choose Logitech PC960
The 32 Ω load draws little current from laptop USB ports.
The unidirectional capsule keeps nearby keyboard noise off the call.
Inline mute removes the need to hunt through softphone menus.
The 2.4 m lead reaches a floor-mounted PC from a seated position.
At 120 g the frame stays comfortable across an eight-hour shift.
The 6 mm capsule and 30 mm drivers cover speech and playback from one device.

The headset works as expected but the ear cushions started peeling slightly after a month of heavy use. Sound and mic are fine and the USB connection is stable. I would still recommend it for the price range.

The 2.4 m cable is the reason I picked this over the shorter models. I can move between my desk and the printer without removing the headset. Sound quality is fine for calls, though bass is light for music. Good value for office work.
Samuel Ochieng (verified owner) –
Works well. Mic is clear and the cable is long enough.
Aisha Mohamed (verified owner) –
Comfortable for long shifts. The leatherette ear pads do not press too hard on the ears and the mic boom adjusts easily. I have used it for four weeks in a call centre setup and no complaints so far.
Mercy Wanjala (verified owner) –
Bought three for our reception team. The 30 mm drivers are loud enough for voice calls and the USB plug works on both Windows and our Linux front desk machine without drivers. Cushions get a bit warm after two hours but that is minor.
Esther Muthoni (verified owner) –
I use this for online classes and Zoom meetings. The inline volume control is handy and the mute switch works without needing software. The headband feels sturdy after three weeks of daily use. Delivery was quick and the box was sealed.

The noise-cancelling mic is the standout feature. My clients on Teams calls say I sound clear even with the fan running in the office. The 2.4 m cable gives enough slack to stand up during calls without pulling the laptop.
