Description
HERO-Sensor Wireless Gaming Mouse
The Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Black is a 2.4 GHz wireless gaming mouse built around the HERO optical sensor. It reports at 1000 Hz for a 1 ms poll interval. A single AA cell delivers 250 hours of continuous play.
The HERO sensor tracks from 200 to 12,000 DPI with zero smoothing, acceleration or filtering. Maximum tracking speed reaches 400 IPS and acceleration 40 G. Six mechanical buttons cover left, right, wheel click, forward, back and a DPI cycle key. Onboard memory stores one hardware profile.
Logitech rates the main switches at 10 million clicks and the feet at 250 km of travel. The chassis measures 116.6 x 62.15 x 38.2 mm and weighs 75 g without a cell, 99 g installed. A nano receiver docks inside the battery cage, and the 2.4 GHz link holds to 10 m.

Why Choose the G305
The 2.4 GHz gaming mouse sustains a 1 ms report rate without cable drag on competitive titles.
A 12,000 DPI optical sensor holds accuracy past 400 IPS with no smoothing or acceleration.
AA battery power removes charging downtime and allows fast cell swaps between shifts.
The 75 g bare weight and 99 g loaded weight suit long sessions and mixed desk use.
Onboard profile memory carries button and DPI settings to machines without the driver installed.

Only complaint is the shape is a bit narrow for larger hands during long sessions. Otherwise the tracking is consistent and the clicks feel crisp. Would recommend for smaller-hand users or those who use a claw grip.
Purity Nyokabi (verified owner) –
Great value for a wireless gaming mouse. Small enough for my hand and the six programmable buttons cover everything I need.

Bought this for my workstation in Upper Hill and it has been running on the same AA battery since I unboxed it. Comfortable for a full day of CAD work, and the shape suits a claw grip without cramping.
Joseph Macharia (verified owner) –
Been using it for three months across two laptops. The G HUB software recognizes it instantly when I move the receiver, and profile switching works without re-pairing. Battery indicator in G HUB has saved me from a dead mouse mid-presentation.

Arrived in Nairobi within two days, sealed. Receiver tucked into the base compartment so nothing got lost in transit. Battery door slides off cleanly when you need to swap cells.
Kevin Mutuma (verified owner) –
Switched from a wired mouse and the LIGHTSPEED link feels indistinguishable in games. The HERO sensor tracks cleanly at 800 DPI on my cloth pad and there is no spin-out on fast flicks.
Samuel Karanu (verified owner) –
The 12000 DPI HERO sensor is more than enough for my use, but what sells this mouse is the weight and battery combo. Two AA cells last months on a single charge cycle, and the receiver stores neatly inside the shell. No RGB, which I actually prefer since it saves power.
