Description
Cartridge-Free A4 Multifunction for Small Workgroups
The HP Smart Tank 750 is a cartridge-free A4 inkjet multifunction device that prints, scans and copies through a 35-sheet automatic document feeder. It pairs automatic two-sided printing with a refillable ink tank system. Six ink bottles ship in the box and cover up to 18,000 monochrome pages and 8,000 colour pages.
A thermal inkjet print engine reaches ISO speeds of up to 15 ppm in black and 9 ppm in colour. Draft mode pushes output to 23 ppm black and 22 ppm colour. The first black page emerges in roughly 14 seconds, and the first colour page in about 16 seconds. Black text resolves at 1200 x 1200 rendered dpi, while colour reaches 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi on supported photo papers.
Connectivity covers Hi-Speed USB 2.0, Ethernet LAN and dual-band 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct. The 250-sheet input tray and 100-sheet output tray support daily volumes, and HP rates the device at 400 to 800 recommended pages per month against a 5,000-page duty cycle. A 70 x 12 mm reflective LCD with smart-guided buttons handles walk-up tasks.

The ADF on this unit has been the difference for our reception desk. We scan supplier invoices and ID copies all day, and feeding a stack instead of lifting the lid each time saves real minutes. Duplex printing also means we stop buying so much paper. Ink tanks look like they will run a long while.

Set it up over Wi-Fi in our office and shared it to four machines without drama. Wi-Fi Direct is handy when a visitor needs to print from a phone. Build feels solid enough for a busy floor.
Faith Chebet (verified owner) –
Print quality on documents is crisp and the colour pages for our small marketing handouts come out clean. The ink yield claim caught my attention and so far the levels have barely moved after weeks of school reports. One thing to note is the unit is fairly wide, so plan desk space before it arrives.

Ethernet port was the selling point for me. Wired to the office switch and it just works, no dropping off the network like the old wireless printer.
