Description
Single-Cable Docking for Mixed Notebook Fleets
The HP G5 USB-C dock links a notebook to monitors, peripherals and a wired network over one USB-C cable. Its 120 W adapter delivers up to 100 W to the host through USB Power Delivery, so the laptop charges while it works. HP backs the unit with a one-year limited warranty.
Video output covers two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one HDMI 2.0 port, which together drive up to three displays. Maximum graphics output is 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. Four USB-A 3.0 ports are split across the front, side and rear, and a front USB-C port supplies 15 W for accessories.
A Gigabit RJ45 port supports PXE boot, Wake on LAN, MAC address pass-through and LAN/WLAN switching. The chassis measures 12.2 x 12.2 x 4.5 cm and weighs 0.75 kg. HP lists Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS and Chrome OS as supported operating systems.
