Description

DDR4 UDIMM Memory for Desktop Upgrades

The HIXA 16GB DDR4 3200MHz is a single-module desktop memory upgrade for systems with 288-pin DIMM slots. It targets office PCs, home desktops, and entry-level workstations that need more working memory. The module ships as one 16GB DDR4 SDRAM stick.

It runs at 3200MHz under the PC4-25600 standard and delivers up to 25.6GB/s theoretical bandwidth. CL22 latency applies at the rated speed. The non-ECC, unbuffered layout suits standard consumer and business motherboards rather than server platforms.

A 1.2V operating voltage keeps power draw below legacy DDR3 modules. The 288-pin UDIMM edge connector fits DDR4 desktop slots. The module measures 133.35 × 31.25 mm, the JEDEC standard DIMM outline. Intel and AMD DDR4 desktop platforms accept the module when the board supports 3200MHz or lower speeds.

Key Features

  • 16GB Single-Module Capacity
One 16GB rank provides a straightforward capacity increase for multi-application desktop workloads.

  • 3200MHz PC4-25600 Speed Grade
The module transfers data at 3200MT/s and returns to lower JEDEC profiles when the platform cannot sustain that rate.

  • Standard 288-Pin UDIMM Interface

    • Fits desktop DDR4 DIMM slots without adapters.
    • Non-ECC unbuffered design matches mainstream Intel and AMD chipsets.
    • 1.2V JEDEC voltage reduces heat output against DDR3 modules.
  • CL22 JEDEC Timings
The module uses standard JEDEC latency settings, so firmware detects it without manual timing entry.

  • Plug-and-Play Installation
The DIMM seats in a compatible slot and boots at the highest speed the motherboard and CPU memory controller support.

Simple stick, no fuss. Standard UDIMM so it slotted straight in and booted first time. Good value for a 16GB module.

  2. Kevin Mwangi (verified owner) –

Dropped this into my office desktop and the difference was instant — multitasking across spreadsheets and a dozen browser tabs no longer chokes the machine. 3200MHz rated speed and it ran at full spec on my board without needing to tweak anything in BIOS. Just wish it was easier to find in stock.

  3. Samuel Otieno (verified owner) –

Bought two of these for a small cyber setup and they’ve held up well under constant use. Heat spreader is basic but the modules stay cool enough. One caveat: confirm your motherboard takes standard DDR4 UDIMM and not SODIMM before ordering, as I nearly made that mistake myself. Overall a dependable part for the money.
