The Govee RGBIC Basic is a 5 m indoor LED tape that drives every 30 cm block from its own IC chip. The controller paints several colours along one run instead of a single flat hue. A 24 V DC plug-in adapter powers the whole kit, so the installation needs no separate LED driver.

The strip carries 90 LEDs at 18 per metre, with a 170° beam angle and cut marks every 30 cm. Rated draw is 12 W across the full 5 m, producing 44 lm per metre and about 220 lm per kit. The Govee Home app controls colour, brightness and effects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Three control paths cover handover and daily use: the app, the inline control box with its built-in microphone, and Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. An IP20 rating keeps deployment indoors, between −10 °C and 40 °C. Adhesive backing with 3M tape fixes the tape to plasterboard, skirting, cabinetry or a desk frame.
