Description
A3 Colour Line-Head Inkjet Platform
The Epson WorkForce AM-C4000 pairs a stationary PrecisionCore line head with Heat-Free pigment ink. It prints A4 at 40 ISO ppm in mono and colour, and reaches 23 ppm on A3. Duplex output holds 40 ipm on A4.
Each colour channel carries 7,230 nozzles and fires 3.8 pl DURABrite Pro droplets. Resolution reaches 600 x 2,400 dpi on plain paper. A 10.1-inch colour touchscreen runs copy, scan, and fax jobs without a host PC.
Standard input holds 1,150 sheets across two 500-sheet trays and a 150-sheet multipurpose tray. Optional trays raise capacity to 5,150 sheets. Media handling spans 52 to 300 g/m² and sizes up to A3. The 500-sheet output tray supports long unattended runs.
The single-pass ADF scans 60 ipm simplex and 120 ipm duplex through a CIS sensor. Scan destinations cover email, FTP, SMB folders, USB storage, and SharePoint. Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.2 Gen 1 ship standard; Wi-Fi 802.11ac is optional.
Power draw sits at 115 W while copying, 1 W in sleep, and 0.1 W off, with a TEC of 0.22 kWh per week. The chassis measures 555 x 620 x 963 mm and weighs 102.1 kg. Recommended monthly volume runs from 5,600 to 60,000 pages.
