The Energizer AAA battery delivers 1.5 V from an alkaline zinc-manganese dioxide system in the IEC LR03 / ANSI 24A outline. It seats in remotes, wall clocks, wireless mice, torches and smoke alarms. A steel can and crimped seal limit electrolyte escape at end of life.

Typical capacity reaches 1.2 Ah under low continuous drain. Internal resistance stays low enough for pulsed loads such as camera flashes and motorised toys. Open-circuit voltage reads 1.5 V when fresh and holds near 1.2 V across most of the discharge curve. The chemistry carries no added mercury.

The cylinder measures 10.5 mm in diameter by 44.5 mm in height and weighs 11.5 g. Discharge runs from -18°C to 55°C. Date-coded jackets track the production batch, and shelf life reaches 10 years at 21°C storage. Raised positive and flat negative terminals match standard AAA holders.
