Lockable Shovel Mount for K9 Roof Racks

The Eezi-Awn K9-151 shovel cradle clamps a spade or shovel to the side or top of a K9 roof rack. The cover presses down on the shaft to cut rattle on corrugated tracks. A loop on the body accepts a padlock for theft deterrence.

The mount clamps the handle shaft rather than the blade or grip. It accepts shovel handles up to 38 mm in diameter. The body measures 150 mm long, 100 mm wide and 115 mm high, and weighs 0.5 kg. Black anodised steel resists scuffs and corrosion.

Fitment uses one included K9 accessory adapter. The adapter engages the 6 mm slot along the rack edge. A flat back surface sits against the rack side. The cradle also mounts to the top platform where side clearance is limited.

Side mounting leaves the platform free for recovery tracks, jerry cans and storage cases. The clamp holds the shovel clear of the vehicle body and window glass. Check the clamp tension after the first rough section. Remove the shovel before pressure washing the rack.
