Description
5-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch with SFP Uplink
The Cudy GS1005PTS1 PoE switch combines four Gigabit PoE+ downlink ports with one Gigabit RJ45 uplink and a dedicated 1.25G SFP slot. It delivers a 120 W total PoE budget across ports 1 to 4. Port 1 supports up to 60 W for high-draw devices such as PTZ cameras, while ports 2 to 4 supply 30 W each under 802.3at/af.
A metal chassis measures 200 x 118 x 44 mm and supports desktop or rack-mount installation with optional brackets. The fanless design runs silent, which suits office cabinets and surveillance enclosures. Front-panel DIP switches toggle Extend, VLAN and Watchdog modes without entering a management interface.
Extend mode stretches PoE transmission on ports 3 and 4 to 250 m at 10 Mbps for long-range CCTV runs. VLAN mode isolates downlink ports from each other to limit lateral traffic. The Watchdog feature reboots unresponsive PoE clients after five minutes of inactivity, which reduces site visits for stuck cameras or access points.
Key Features
120 W PoE Budget with 60 W Port 1
Port 1 delivers up to 60 W for PTZ domes or high-power APs, while ports 2 to 4 supply 30 W each.Hybrid Uplink: 1 GbE RJ45 and 1 SFP
- One Gigabit RJ45 uplink for copper backhaul
- One 1.25G SFP slot for fiber modules
- 12.5 Gbps switching capacity and 8.929 Mpps forwarding rate
Extend Mode to 250 m
Ports 3 and 4 extend PoE and data to 250 m at 10 Mbps for distant cameras.VLAN Port Isolation
VLAN mode separates downlink ports to prevent broadcast leakage between tenants or devices.PoE Watchdog Auto-Recovery
The switch reboots PoE clients that stop responding for five minutes, restoring camera or AP links automatically.Fanless Metal Chassis
The 200 x 118 x 44 mm metal case dissipates heat without a fan, so the unit runs silent in shared spaces.

Why Choose the GS1005PTS1
The 60 W port 1 output powers PTZ cameras and Wi-Fi 6 APs without a separate injector.
Extend mode reaches distant cameras at 250 m, which avoids adding an intermediate switch.
Watchdog auto-recovery reduces truck rolls to reboot frozen PoE devices.
VLAN isolation limits broadcast traffic between downlink devices in shared cabinets.
The fanless metal chassis suits noise-sensitive offices and sealed enclosures.
Hybrid RJ45 and SFP uplinks simplify migration from copper to fiber backhaul.

Delivered quickly and the unit is compact enough to tuck away in a small rack. Only complaint is the fan — it is audible in a quiet office, though not terrible.
Dennis Omondi (verified owner) –
The 802.3af/at support means my UniFi AP powers up fine. Easy to configure VLANs through the web interface. Solid build for a small network.
Samuel Kariuki (verified owner) –
Running two PoE IP cameras and an access point off this switch with no issues. The 120W budget is enough for all three with headroom, and the SFP slot let me uplink to the main switch over fibre.
Mercy Njeri (verified owner) –
Bought it for a small office setup with two VoIP phones and a wireless AP. Works reliably, though I wish it had more ports since I already filled three of five. The SFP uplink was the deciding factor for me.
