Catalyst 1300 8-Port Full PoE+
The Cisco C1300-8FP-2G is the small Catalyst 1300 access switch with eight Gigabit PoE+ ports and two 1G combo uplinks. Full PoE on this SKU typically means about 120 W of PoE budget for APs, phones, and cameras in a small closet. Management follows the rest of Catalyst 1300: CLI, web UI, and Cisco Business Dashboard. It is not the 8T (no PoE) model and not the 48-port C1300-48P-4X. Use it as a compact PoE leaf, not a campus core.
Additionally, combo uplinks let you pick copper or SFP on the same two ports. Therefore a fibre run to the IDF is possible without a larger 10G chassis. However, 1G uplinks oversubscribe quickly if all eight ports push cameras at high bitrate. Consequently, keep this SKU for a handful of APs or a mini NVR closet. PoE+ (802.3at) class devices must fit inside the 120 W envelope including cable loss.
