Bulk Shielded Modular Plugs for Structured Cabling
The Cat 6 RJ45 connectors ship as a 1000-piece bulk pack of 8P8C metallic plugs built for high-volume termination work. Each unit uses a zinc alloy or brass shell that shields against electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated contacts sit over nickel and phosphor bronze to hold contact resistance low across repeated mating cycles.
These plugs accept Cat6 UTP and STP cable and also terminate Cat5e runs without a change of tooling. The 8-position, 8-contact layout supports 250 MHz bandwidth and 1 Gbps Ethernet links. Wire gauges from 23 to 26 AWG fit the IDC slots, covering both solid horizontal cable and stranded patch cord assemblies.
Installers can wire to T568A or T568B colour codes for straight-through or crossover assemblies. A standard crimp tool forms the termination in two steps, and the metal body adds mechanical strength at the cable entry. Rated retention sits at 7.7 kg minimum, with insertion force capped at 20 N.
