Description
16-Inch Gaming Notebook with Discrete RTX 5060 Graphics
The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU and 8GB of GDDR7 memory. The FA608UM chassis carries a 16-inch FHD+ panel running at 165Hz. Dual SO-DIMM slots and two M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots let procurement teams scale memory and storage after deployment.
The 1920 x 1200 IPS-level panel covers 100% sRGB and 72% NTSC, with a 3ms response time and G-SYNC support. A MUX switch with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus routes frames either from the discrete GPU or through integrated graphics. The 90Wh four-cell battery and 240W adapter sustain workloads away from mains power.
Connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6E triple-band 2×2, Bluetooth 5.4 and an RJ-45 Ethernet port for wired LAN. The port stack includes USB4 Type-C at 40Gbps, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort and power delivery, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port and HDMI 2.1 FRL. The unit weighs 2.20 kg and measures 35.4 x 26.9 x 1.79–2.57 cm.

Why Choose ASUS TUF
Discrete RTX 5060 silicon with a MUX switch gives engineers direct GPU output for CAD viewports and frame-sensitive titles.
Two SO-DIMM and two M.2 bays let a single chassis cover multiple user tiers without a second hardware order.
USB4 at 40Gbps supports external NVMe enclosures and docked multi-display setups over one cable.
The 90Wh pack and 240W supply keep sustained renders running on battery-limited sites.
Wired Ethernet plus Wi-Fi 6E covers both fixed desk and roaming deployment scenarios.

Bought this for CAD work and some gaming on the side. The Ryzen 7 260 with 16GB DDR5 handles multi-tasking well, and the Thunderbolt 4 port is great for connecting an external monitor. Only thing is it comes with no OS, so budget for that separately.

Great laptop. Handles everything I throw at it.

The 165Hz screen is the star here—games run smooth and the RTX 5060 handles most titles on high settings without breaking a sweat. I installed my own OS and drivers without any hassle. The RGB keyboard and numeric keypad are a nice touch for both gaming and spreadsheet work.

Solid build for a TUF series. The Mecha Gray finish looks understated and professional enough for the office. Wi-Fi 6E is fast and the Ethernet port is a plus for stable online gaming. Fan noise under load is noticeable but not distracting.
