Regulated DC Supply for Door Entry Hardware

The 12V 3A Power Supply converts mains AC to a regulated 12V DC rail for access control hardware. It feeds electric strikes, magnetic locks, keypads and intercom panels from a single 36W source. A compact metal enclosure houses the switching board and screw terminals.

The input stage accepts 100-240V AC at 50/60Hz, which covers local mains without a selector switch. Output holds 12V DC at 3A continuous with ripple below 100mV peak-to-peak. A trimmer adjusts the rail between 11V and 13V for long cable runs. Overload and short-circuit protection trip the output until the fault clears.

Screw terminals accept 0.5 to 2.5mm² conductors for lock and reader feeds. The case measures approximately 120 x 95 x 38mm and mounts to a wall or inside a control cabinet. Operating range sits between -20°C and 60°C. Isolated input and output stages keep mains noise off the lock circuit.
