The X98 RGB wireless keyboard is a 102-key mechanical board with three connection paths: a 2.4 GHz dongle, Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB-C wired link. It ships with pre-lubed linear switches and a hot-swap PCB that accepts both 3-pin and 5-pin switch types. The layout keeps the numpad while occupying roughly the desk footprint of an 87-key board.

A 4000 mAh lithium battery feeds the wireless radios and the south-facing RGB array. The vendor rates runtime at up to 200 hours with lighting managed by the onboard power-saving routine. Bluetooth 5.0 pairs with three host devices, and the rear switch selects between 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth and wired modes. A USB-C cable carries data and charging.

The gasket mount isolates the plate from the chassis across twenty silicone sockets, and five foam layers sit between the PCB and the case. A 1.2 mm single-key slotted PCB softens bottom-out feel.
