Description
Compact USB-C Port Expander for Desk and Travel
The Vention TGKBD hub turns one USB-C port into four USB 3.0 Type-A ports. It moves data at up to 5Gbps and accepts an external DC 5V supply for power-hungry drives. The 0.5m integrated cable and ABS enclosure keep the unit portable.
The hub supports external hard drives up to 8TB when the DC input is connected. Nickel-plated contacts and a PVC cable jacket resist wear across repeated connects. Plug-and-play operation needs no driver on Windows, macOS, Linux or Android.
Each USB-A port runs at USB 3.0 speed and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. The ABS shell measures compact enough for a laptop bag. An indicator light shows power state during use.
Key Features

Documentation
Why Choose the TGKBD
The four-port expander removes the need to swap peripherals on USB-C laptops with limited ports.
External 5V input keeps large external drives stable during sustained read and write operations.
The 0.5m cable and ABS body suit field engineers who carry the hub between sites.
Nickel-plated contacts and PVC insulation extend service life in shared desk environments.
Backward compatibility protects existing USB 2.0 keyboards, mice and card readers.
Plug-and-play enumeration avoids admin rights and driver packages on managed endpoints.

Does the job. Fast transfer speeds and no fuss.
Faith Atieno (verified owner) –
Good value. The power supply is a nice touch.
Jane Wambui (verified owner) –
Compact and does what it says. The 0.5m cable is a decent length for my desk. All four ports work, and the USB-C connection to my laptop is firm.
Agnes Nekesa (verified owner) –
Works fine for my laptop. One star off because the hub gets warm when all four ports are in use for a while, but nothing alarming.
David Kipkorir (verified owner) –
Reliable hub for office use. The USB-C cable is attached which means one less thing to lose, and the power supply means I can run a portable hard drive without it disconnecting. The black ABS finish matches my laptop.
Michael Kamau (verified owner) –
The 5Gbps speed holds up. I moved a 4GB folder from a flash drive and it finished in seconds, not minutes like my old hub. The included power supply keeps all four ports stable when I plug in an external drive and a card reader together.
Charles Mutinda (verified owner) –
Plugged in four devices and they all worked without the USB bus complaining. The 5Gbps ports are fast and the power supply keeps things reliable. Delivery was prompt and packaging was intact.
Robert Ochieng (verified owner) –
Bought this for a workstation that needed extra USB ports for a keyboard, mouse, printer and external drive. Everything runs without dropouts, and the power supply removes the worry about bus power limits. The ABS shell feels a bit light but has held up over three weeks.
