Passive Two-Way Connector for Mixed HDMI and DVI Estates
The Vention ECCB0 joins an HDMI male plug to a DVI-I 24+5 female socket. Signal passes in either direction, so the same part links an HDMI laptop to a DVI monitor or a DVI graphics card to an HDMI display. Gold-plated contacts and a straight, passive layout keep the assembly compact.
HDMI 1.4 signalling carries 1920 x 1080 at 60Hz and accepts 1920 x 1200 on compatible DVI displays. DVI-I dual-link wiring leaves the analogue pins unused during digital operation. The unit passes video only. DVI carries no audio channel, so route sound through a separate 3.5mm or optical path.
High-grade PVC moulding covers the shell, and thumbscrews on the DVI side tighten by hand for a stable mechanical joint. The assembly weighs roughly 30g and draws no power. Technicians can leave it attached to a cable end in AV carts, meeting rooms, and reception displays.
