Description
Shielded VGA Lead with Ferrite Suppression
The Vention DAEBF VGA cable links a VGA output to a monitor or projector over a one-metre run. It uses a 3+6 conductor layout with dual ferrite cores at each end. The black PVC jacket measures 7.5 mm outside diameter and carries a 30AWG copper core.
Gold-plated D-Sub 15-pin HD plugs sit on both ends and resist corrosion across repeated mating cycles. Twofold shielding combines aluminium foil and braid to block electromagnetic interference. The ferrite beads suppress high-frequency noise on the video signal.
The cable supports 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60 Hz, with fallback to 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 on legacy displays. Screw locks on each connector secure the lead to the port. The one-metre length suits desk-mounted monitors and short projector runs.
Key Features
Dual Ferrite Core Suppression
Two ferrite beads clamp onto the cable near each plug to attenuate high-frequency interference.Twofold Shielding
Aluminium foil plus braid screening protects the RGB and sync lines from nearby power cables.Gold-Plated D-Sub Connectors
- 15-pin HD male plugs on both ends
- Gold plating on contacts limits oxidation
- Thumbscrews lock the cable to the port
1080p 60 Hz Support
The cable carries 1920 x 1080 progressive video at 60 Hz for standard desktop and projection use.30AWG Copper Conductor

What’s in the Box
DAEBF VGA male-to-male cable, 1 m
Why Choose the DAEBF Lead
Ferrite beads and twofold shielding reduce ghosting on long VGA runs in offices with fluorescent lighting.
Gold-plated pins maintain stable contact after repeated disconnection at hot desks.
Thumbscrews prevent accidental unplugging when the cable is routed behind a monitor.
The 1 m length suits short desk runs without excess slack.
30AWG copper cores preserve 1080p signal quality over the short span.

Lilian Cherono (verified owner) –
Reliable cable for the price point. The ferrite cores are a nice touch for interference.
Faith Njoki (verified owner) –
Bought this to connect a projector in our boardroom and it works fine. The 1m length is good for close setups, though I would have preferred a slightly longer option for our larger room. Build quality feels solid.
Kelvin Mwangi (verified owner) –
Needed a short VGA cable for a desk setup and this one fits the bill. Ferrite cores keep the picture clean and the connectors seat firmly.
Joseph Omondi (verified owner) –
Arrived quickly in Nairobi and was well packed. Used it to hook up an older monitor to a desktop at the office. The 3+6 configuration seems to help with signal stability and there is no ghosting on the display.
