Description
USB-C to USB-A OTG Adapter Cable
The UGREEN US378 OTG cable turns a USB-C port into a standard USB-A receptacle. It connects flash drives, keyboards, mice, card readers and printers to laptops, tablets and phones that expose only USB-C. The adapter asserts the OTG role state, so the host recognises the attached peripheral without extra drivers.
The lead runs USB 3.2 Gen 1, the specification formerly labelled USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 Gen 1. That link supports SuperSpeed signalling at 5 Gbps and carries bus current for low-power peripherals. A tinned copper core preserves signal integrity across the 0.15 m span, and the aluminium alloy shell shields the connector joint.
The 15 cm length keeps the attached device clear of the host chassis. Nylon braid protects the USB 3.0 OTG lead from repeated flexing in a bag or at a desk. The assembly weighs roughly 14 g, so it adds negligible load to a travel kit.

Why Choose UGREEN US378
The USB-C to USB-A adapter covers legacy peripherals without a dock or expansion card.
A 5 Gbps USB-C adapter holds external SSDs and card readers at SuperSpeed transfer rates.
The nylon braided OTG cable resists abrasion inside a laptop bag or field case.
This USB-C OTG converter weighs about 14 g, so technician toolkits stay light.

Ordered two for the office to connect USB-A peripherals to USB-C laptops. Both work fine and the black finish looks neat. Delivery was timely.
Lydia Wanjiru (verified owner) –
Handy little adapter cable. Reaches from my laptop to a USB-A drive without blocking the neighbouring port.
Felix Barasa (verified owner) –
Works well for OTG on my Android phone, but the cable is stiff and short, so positioning the drive takes a bit of care. The port holds the drive tight and speed is good. Nothing else to complain about.
Cynthia Atieno (verified owner) –
Connected a mouse and keyboard to my tablet through this and both worked straight away, no app needed. Build is rigid and the connectors grip firmly. For the size it does a lot.
Martin Kamau (verified owner) –
Used it to transfer photos from my camera’s card reader to a phone while on assignment. Data moved faster than expected for a cable this small. No dropouts during several large transfers.
George Ndegwa (verified owner) –
Short cable, exactly what I needed to read flash drives off my phone. The 0.15m length stops it dangling and the USB 3.0 port runs at proper speed when I pull files onto the phone.
