Description
Mini DisplayPort Video Adapter for Legacy and Modern Displays
The Ugreen MD115 converter links a Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt 2 host to an HDMI or VGA display. It handles HDMI resolutions up to 4K at 30 Hz and VGA output up to 1080p at 60 Hz. The adapter supports mirror and extend modes for single-display operation.
Inside the aluminium housing, ANX98333 and PS8339 chipsets process the video signal. Tinned copper conductors carry the differential pairs, and braid, ground and aluminium foil layers screen against electromagnetic interference. The fixed Mini DP male plug measures 20 cm from the shell.
HDMI and VGA outputs cannot run at the same time. The converter draws power from the Mini DisplayPort bus and needs no external supply. Compatibility covers Thunderbolt 1 and Thunderbolt 2 hosts; Thunderbolt 3 and 4 ports do not negotiate a Mini DP alt mode through this adapter.
