5 GHz 620 mm Dish CPE

The Ubiquiti PowerBeam ac PBE-5AC-620 is a 5 GHz airMAX ac radio with a 620 mm dish. The larger reflector tightens the beam versus 400 mm PowerBeam models, which helps on longer PtP hops and noisy PtMP CPE links. Firmware is airOS for airMAX ac, not UniFi Network. Pair two units for a bridge, or aim this CPE at an airMAX ac sector. A 24 V PoE injector is typical; confirm the injector in the carton.

Additionally, a 620 mm dish has more wind load than a NanoBeam. Therefore use a proper pole, alignment tools, and stay within the mount’s rating. However, 5 GHz still needs clear Fresnel and legal EIRP. Consequently, survey DFS and licensed-band rules for Kenya before you lock a channel. This SKU is not PowerBeam 5AC ISO, not Gen2 400 mm, and not a UniFi U7 indoor AP.
