8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch
The TP-Link TL-SG1008D is an unmanaged 8-port gigabit switch for desktop and wall-mounted network expansion. It provides eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports with auto-negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX. Each port forwards at wire speed across a 16 Gbps switching fabric.
Store-and-forward switching and a 4K MAC address table keep frame delivery deterministic. The 15 KB jumbo frame support reduces fragmentation for large file transfers. IEEE 802.3x flow control and back pressure manage congestion on busy links, while 802.1p/DSCP QoS prioritises latency-sensitive traffic on V7 and later hardware.
A fanless plastic chassis measures 180 x 90 x 25.5 mm and supports desktop or wall mounting. The external power adapter draws a maximum 4.63 W at 220 V/50 Hz. Operating range is 0–40 °C with 10–90% non-condensing humidity. Certification covers FCC, CE, and RoHS.
