Three-Node Wireless Mesh Kit

The TP-Link Deco M4 3-pack builds one unified wireless network across a home using TP-Link Mesh technology. Three nodes share a single SSID and pass client traffic between units as devices move. The kit supports up to 100 connected devices and expands by adding further Deco units to the same network.

Each node runs a Qualcomm processor with two internal dual-band antennas. The 5 GHz radio delivers 867 Mbps under 802.11ac while the 2.4 GHz radio reaches 300 Mbps under 802.11n, giving an AC1200 combined rating. MU-MIMO, beamforming, band steering and AP steering manage airtime across both bands.

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports per unit auto-sense WAN or LAN, so any node serves as router or wired access point. Optional Ethernet backhaul links nodes over Cat5e or Cat6 cabling. Units measure 90.7 mm in diameter by 190 mm tall and draw power from a 12 V / 1.2 A adapter.
