Description
Activation Licence for e-STUDIO Multifunction Copiers
The Toshiba GM-2290 node activates print and scan functions on e-STUDIO 2518A, 3018A, 3518A, 4518A and 5018A multifunction copiers. The kit ships as a USB dongle that seats in the MFP controller board. It unlocks the embedded printer and scanner firmware already present on the chassis.
This activation key is a single-device licence. The dongle binds to one machine serial number, so it cannot migrate to a second copier. Field engineers install the kit during commissioning or as a retrofit on copiers originally supplied in copy-only configuration.
The GM-2290 enables 600 x 600 dpi printing and colour scanning to folder, email and USB. It also activates duplex printing and network scan profiles. The controller exposes USB 2.0 and Ethernet 10/100/1000 interfaces once the licence validates.
