Description
Replacement Mixer Gear for Toshiba e-Studio Printers
The Toshiba mixer gear is an original developer unit component for select Toshiba e-Studio colour printers and multifunction devices. It carries part number 6LJ54056000 and the description GEAR-04H-29-9-MIX-SPLR. The gear transfers rotational drive to the developer mixer shaft inside the imaging unit.
The component measures approximately 29 mm in diameter and uses a splined bore to lock onto the mixer shaft. A moulded polymer body holds the tooth profile that engages the drive train. The gear operates inside the developer housing, where toner agitation depends on continuous rotation at the correct speed.
Compatible machines include the e-Studio 2050C, 2051C, 2550C, 2551C, 2555C, 3055C, 3555C, 4555C and 5055C. The part also fits the ES9455, ES9465 and ES9475 MFP series. Service technicians replace the gear when the developer unit emits noise, binds, or produces uneven toner density across the page.
The original Toshiba moulding maintains the tooth pitch and bore tolerance required for smooth meshing. Aftermarket copies often deviate in these dimensions and cause premature wear on the mating gears. Stocking the genuine part removes that risk and keeps the developer drive train within specification.
Key Features
Original Toshiba Moulding
The gear carries the Toshiba part number 6LJ54056000 and matches the original tooth profile and bore size.Splined Bore Interface
The internal splines engage the developer mixer shaft and transmit torque without slipping.Developer Unit Fitment
- Mounts inside the developer housing on the mixer shaft
- Engages the adjacent drive gear in the imaging unit
- Maintains the designed toner agitation speed
Wide Model Coverage
The part fits e-Studio 2050C through 5055C series and ES9455/65/75 MFP models.Wear-Resistant Polymer
The moulded body resists abrasion from continuous rotation inside the toner environment.Noise and Bind Correction
Replacing a worn gear removes drive-train noise and restores smooth developer rotation.

Why Choose This Mixer Gear
Original Toshiba dimensions maintain correct meshing with the developer drive train.
The splined bore transfers torque without slipping on the mixer shaft.
A new gear removes noise and binding caused by worn teeth.
One part number covers a broad range of e-Studio and ES series machines.
Genuine moulding reduces the risk of premature wear on adjacent gears.
