S31C Essential Series Display Overview
The Samsung S24C310 monitor pairs a 24-inch IPS panel with Full HD resolution and a 75Hz refresh rate for general office work. Samsung fits it with a three-sided borderless bezel, so two units line up with a narrow seam on a dual-screen desk. The flat black chassis uses a simple tilt stand and measures 539.5 x 422.8 x 217.4 mm with the stand attached.
The panel delivers 1920 x 1080 pixels across a 527.04 x 296.46 mm active area at a 16:9 ratio. Typical brightness is 250 cd/m² with a 200 cd/m² minimum, the static contrast ratio is 1000:1, and grey-to-grey response time is 5ms. Colour output covers 16.7 million shades at 72% of the NTSC 1976 gamut, which suits spreadsheets, documents and web applications.
AMD FreeSync keeps the panel refresh aligned with a compatible Radeon card and trims tearing during video playback. One HDMI 1.4 port with HDCP 1.2 plus one D-Sub port cover modern laptops and older desktops. An external 100–240V adapter feeds the unit, which peaks at 25W and drops to 0.5W in DPMS standby. Tilt spans -2° to 20°, and the 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern takes standard brackets.
