Description
Category 6 Connection Hardware
The R&M Cat.6 RJ45 module terminates solid or stranded UTP cable in structured LAN outlets and patch panels. It delivers Category 6 performance up to 250 MHz for voice and data links. The unshielded body fits indoor horizontal cabling.
An IDC termination block accepts AWG 22 to AWG 26 conductors. TIA/EIA 568A and 568B wiring maps are printed on the module. Gold-plated bronze contacts limit contact resistance below 20 mΩ.
The zinc die-cast housing survives -10 °C to +60 °C operating temperatures. IP20 protection suits controlled indoor enclosures. PowerSafe approval covers IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt remote power.
