Description
Single-Ear Bluetooth Headset for Unified Communications
The Poly Voyager Legend 50 is a monaural Bluetooth headset built for desk, mobile and hybrid UC use. Four noise-cancelling microphones sit on a 74.8 mm aerodynamic boom and feed Poly NoiseBlockAI processing, which applies machine learning to suppress background noise. The bundle adds a BT700C USB-C dongle and a USB-C to USB-A adapter for laptops that need a dedicated audio link.
Bluetooth Core 5.4 carries the link to a 30 m line-of-sight range. The radio holds two simultaneous multipoint connections and stores up to eight paired devices. Supported profiles include A2DP 1.3, AVRCP 1.5, HFP 1.6, HSP 1.2, DID 1.3 and BAS 0.0.
A 13.6 mm driver with 16 ohm impedance reproduces 100 Hz to 20 kHz, while the microphone path covers 100 Hz to 8 kHz at -37 dB FS/Pa. The 20.5 g headset runs up to 10 hours per charge, and the Qi wireless charge case adds roughly 20 hours. A full recharge completes in under 1.5 hours.
SoundGuard acoustic limiting caps transient peaks at the ear. Three silicone earbud sizes ship in the box. Smart sensors answer an inbound call when the headset goes on and mute the mic when it comes off. WindSmart layered wind screening supports outdoor use.
Key Features
Four-Microphone NoiseBlockAI Array
Four MEMS capsules on the boom separate voice from ambient noise before the AI stage processes the residual signal.Acoustic and Electrical Ratings
- 13.6 mm speaker, 16 ohm impedance, 95.5 dB SPL at 1 kHz with 200 mV input
- Microphone signal-to-noise ratio above 68 dB
- Speaker bandwidth 100 Hz to 20 kHz, microphone bandwidth 100 Hz to 8 kHz
Qi Wireless Charge Case
The pocket case holds two additional charges and lifts total talk time from 10 to about 30 hours.Dongle and Adapter Kit
The BT700C USB-C transmitter pairs the headset to a PC over a dedicated Bluetooth 5.1 link, and the bundled adapter covers USB-A ports.Multipoint Pairing
The headset connects to two devices at once and retains eight pairings, so a softphone and a mobile handset stay reachable.On-Head Sensor Logic
Wear detection answers calls on donning and enforces mute on removal, which removes manual steps from hot-desking shifts.

Why Choose Voyager Legend 50 UC
The BT700C transmitter bypasses host Bluetooth stacks that throttle headset profiles on corporate laptops.
Two-device multipoint keeps a softphone client and a mobile handset live without manual re-pairing.
The charge case restores a full working day of talk time between desk sessions.
SoundGuard limiting and a 16 ohm load protect hearing and match standard UC audio paths.
Poly Lens support gives IT a management layer for firmware and fleet visibility.

Received it next day, well packaged. The noise cancelling mics work well in an open-plan office. Sound is fine for calls, though I wouldn’t use it for music — it’s a work headset.
Grace Achieng (verified owner) –
Decent headset overall. Call quality is good and pairing is quick. My only issue is the eartip took a few tries to fit comfortably — otherwise happy with it.
Mercy Wambui (verified owner) –
Comfortable for a full shift and the battery easily lasts the day. Mic quality is good — colleagues say I sound clear. Only wish the earpiece was a bit smaller for my ear.
Samuel Ochieng (verified owner) –
Solid mono headset for the office. Pairs with the dongle quickly, and the USB-C to USB-A adapter means it works on my older desktop too. Good build quality.
Daniel Njoroge (verified owner) –
Works as advertised. The dongle makes it plug-and-play on our standard laptops, which saves IT a lot of setup time. Mic boom is flexible and stays where you put it.
Kevin Mutua (verified owner) –
The BT700C dongle is the reason I bought this — no Bluetooth pairing drama with my work laptop. Calls on Teams are clear and the noise cancelling mics really cut out the traffic noise from Ngong Road outside my window.
