Description
AC1200 Dual-Band Wall-Plug Repeater
The Netgear EX6110 range extender repeats an existing 802.11ac network into rooms where the router signal fades. It is a wall-plug unit with internal antennas, so it draws power from a standard socket and needs no separate adapter or cabling.
Two radios run at the same time: 2.4 GHz at up to 300 Mbps and 5 GHz at up to 867 Mbps, giving the combined AC1200 rating. FastLane technology drives both bands for one high-speed link, which lifts backhaul throughput above what a single-radio repeater holds.
Setup runs through a web browser or the WPS push button, and no CD is required. Smart LED indicators report link quality at the install point, so a technician can reposition the unit until it sits inside the primary coverage area.
Key Features
Simultaneous dual-band radios
2.4 GHz and 5 GHz run concurrently on 802.11 b/g/n and 802.11 a/n/ac, which cuts co-channel interference on the 5 GHz path.FastLane high-speed backhaul
One band carries the router link while the other serves clients, supporting HD video and latency-sensitive traffic.Wall-plug housing with internal antennas
- 72.5 x 72.5 x 64.8 mm body at 152 g fits a standard wall outlet.
- No external antennas or power brick to mount or cable.
Push ‘N’ Connect WPS pairing
The WPS button copies the main network credentials to the unit without manual SSID entry.Smart LED placement guide
The front indicator shows link strength so installers can find the correct coverage boundary before fixing the unit in place.WPA2-PSK and WEP security
Supports WiFi Protected Access (WPA/WPA2-PSK) plus legacy WEP encryption for older clients.NETGEAR WiFi Analytics app
Reports signal strength, channel usage and connected client lists from a smartphone.Router-independent deployment
Works with any standard 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac router or gateway, regardless of vendor.

AC1200 wall-plug WiFi booster unit (EX6110)
Quick start guide
Why Choose the EX6110
AC1200 dual-band throughput covers everyday office and retail client traffic without cabling changes to the existing LAN.
The internal-antenna wall-plug design removes bracket, mast and power-adapter work, so a single site visit completes the install.
FastLane backhaul keeps 5 GHz clients on a dedicated path, which holds throughput on streaming and voice traffic.
Cross-vendor compatibility lets engineers attach the 802.11ac coverage booster to mixed MikroTik, TP-Link or Cisco wireless estates.
LED-guided positioning and WPS pairing shorten commissioning for helpdesk staff without RF tooling.
