Description
Single Tower Air CPU Cooler
The MSI COREFROZR AA13 cooler is a single-tower air CPU cooler rated for up to 240W TDP. It pairs four 6mm direct-touch copper heat pipes with a 120mm CycloBlade7 ARGB PWM fan.
The fan operates from 510 to 2070 RPM and delivers 62.6 CFM at 2.36 mmH2O static pressure. A rifle bearing keeps noise between 30.1 and 34.1 dBA across the speed range.
The heatsink stands 152mm tall and fits Intel LGA 1700/1851 and AMD AM4/AM5 sockets. Pre-applied thermal paste and a spring-screw mounting kit simplify installation.
Key Features
Direct Touch Heat-pipes
Copper heat pipes contact the CPU surface directly to reduce thermal interface resistance.Quad 6mm Copper Heat Pipes
Four 6mm pipes transfer heat from the base into a 50-fin aluminium stack.CycloBlade7 ARGB Fan
- 120 x 120 x 25mm PWM fan with rifle bearing
- 510-2070 RPM, 62.6 CFM, 2.36 mmH2O
- 5V 3-pin ARGB header for Mystic Light sync
240W TDP Rating
The cooler supports processors with power envelopes up to 240W.152mm Clearance Height
The tower fits most mid-tower chassis without side panel contact.Pre-Applied Thermal Paste
Factory-applied compound removes a preparation step during assembly.Laser-Etched Dragon Spirit
The top cover carries the MSI dragon emblem on a brushed finish.

Why Choose the COREFROZR AA13
The 240W thermal envelope covers high-core-count desktop processors.
Direct-touch copper base shortens the heat path from die to fin stack.
A 152mm profile clears most mid-tower side panels.
Rifle bearing construction limits mechanical noise and extends service life.
Mystic Light synchronisation aligns the fan LEDs with the rest of the build.

Decent cooling but I found the fan a bit loud under load. Still, temps are stable and the build feels solid.
Lydia Atieno (verified owner) –
Ran it on an LGA 1700 build for a client and it handled a 240W load without throttling. Mounting was straightforward, and the PWM range from 510 to 2070 RPM gives good control between quiet and performance. Mystic Light integration was a nice bonus.

Good cooler for the money. The rifle bearing fan should last, and 62.6 CFM airflow is solid. Only downside is the 34 dBA at max speed if you’re chasing silence.

Arrived well packaged. The ARGB lighting looks good through my tempered glass panel.
Victor Omondi (verified owner) –
Four direct-touch heat pipes do the job well. My temps dropped noticeably compared to the stock cooler, and the tower fits in my mid-case at 152mm.
Faith Wambui (verified owner) –
Installed on an AM5 board without any bracket drama. The 120mm fan is quiet at idle, though it gets audible at full tilt.
Brian Kiptoo (verified owner) –
The 240W TDP rating is no joke — my Ryzen 7 stays cool even under heavy rendering. ARGB syncs nicely with Mystic Light.
