Multi-WAN UTM Appliance for Branch Networks

The MH-5000 security gateway is a multi-homing UTM appliance for small and medium business networks. It combines firewall, VPN, intrusion detection and outbound load balancing in a single desktop chassis. Five configurable Ethernet ports support up to three WAN links, one DMZ and one LAN segment.

Hardware includes a fanless enclosure with five 10/100 RJ-45 ports and a console port for CLI access. The default port map sets two WAN, one DMZ and two LAN interfaces, and administrators can reassign any port to WAN, LAN or DMZ through the web GUI. At least one WAN and one LAN interface must remain active at all times.

The UTM stack covers rule-based SPI firewall, intrusion detection and prevention, IPSec/PPTP/L2TP VPN, content filtering, anti-virus and anti-spam. Bandwidth management classifies packets by policy and applies priority limits. High Availability pairs two units for redundant operation, and local authentication supports up to 2,000 users.
