Logitech H820e Mono Wireless DECT Headset with USB-A Charging Dock

DECT Wireless Headset for Desk-Based Unified Communications

The Logitech H820e Mono is a single-ear DECT headset built for desk phones, softphones, and unified communications clients. It pairs automatically when seated in its charging dock and holds a wireless link up to 100 metres from the base station.

DECT 6.0 with a USB-A receiver keeps the audio path off the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band. A bidirectional ECM microphone with noise cancellation and acoustic echo suppression handles speech pickup in shared offices. Wideband audio and digital signal processing carry the receive path.

The rechargeable battery delivers up to 10 hours of talk time on a full charge. A three-hour dock cycle restores capacity between shifts. A wideband/narrowband switch trades audio bandwidth for longer runtime in dense deployments.

Key Features

• DECT 6.0 wireless link over USB-A
The base station presents a standard USB audio device to the host, so no proprietary driver or sound card is required.

• Automatic pairing on the dock
The headset registers with any H820e charging base on contact, which supports shared desks and pooled handset programmes.

• Audio and microphone chain

  • Bidirectional ECM microphone with active noise cancellation.
  • Flexible boom rotates vertically and bends left or right for mouth alignment.
  • Acoustic protection limits output above 115 dBA in line with EN60950-1.
  • Headset frequency response spans 40 Hz to 8 kHz; the microphone path reaches 10 kHz.

• On-ear call control and status LEDs
Answer, end, and volume controls sit on the earcup, while a rear-facing in-call LED and a red mute indicator signal state to nearby colleagues.

• Wideband and narrowband selector
Operators can drop to narrowband mode to extend talk time and reduce channel crowding in high-density floor plans.

• Construction for daily wear
The padded leatherette headband and ear cushion use a TR90 nylon frame that resists hairspray and sunscreen exposure better than ABS.
