Description
Motorized Square Projection Surface
The Lightwave LW-EPS-240E deploys a 240 × 240 cm matte white viewing surface from a wall or ceiling-mounted metal casing. A tubular motor raises and lowers the fabric through an RF remote or a three-way wall switch. The 1:1 square format suits data projection, split-screen layouts and square-format content.
The fabric carries a three-layer backing that blocks light penetration from behind the screen. A 1.0 gain matte white surface spreads projector output evenly across a 160° viewing cone. Black 25 mm masking borders frame the image and lift perceived contrast in rooms with ambient light.
The housing uses spray-painted sheet metal formed on a punch machine, which keeps the casing rigid across a 240 cm span. An auto-locking system holds the fabric at any intermediate drop position rather than full extension only. The unit runs on 220–240 V AC and ships with brackets for both wall and ceiling installation.
Key Features
Tubular Motor Drive
A low-noise tubular motor retracts and extends the fabric quickly, and the auto-lock holds the chosen stop position.Dual Control Paths
- Radio frequency remote operating without line of sight
- Three-way wall switch for fixed-position control
Matte White Fabric
The 1.0 gain surface carries a three-layer backing that stops rear light bleed.25 mm Masking Borders
Black edging absorbs spill light at the image boundary and sharpens perceived contrast.Rigid Metal Housing
Punch-formed, spray-painted sheet metal resists flex across the 240 cm width. Two Mounting Methods
Supplied brackets support wall fixing or ceiling suspension with concealed cable routing.Intermediate Stop Control
The locking mechanism parks the fabric at any height for different aspect ratios.

Why Choose the LW EPS-240E
The square format projection screen covers a full 240 × 240 cm area, so presenters can run 4:3 slides, square video walls or split layouts without cropping.
A retractable electric screen removes the fixed-frame footprint from meeting rooms that also host training or examination sessions.
The three-layer backed fabric blocks light from windows or corridor glazing behind the mounting wall.
Radio frequency control works from the back of a hall without pointing at the housing, and the wall switch covers installers who prefer a fixed panel.
The punch-formed metal casing keeps the fabric taut across the full span, which reduces edge curl over repeated cycles.

Joseph Karanja (verified owner) –
Solid screen, the metal housing feels heavy-duty. Only issue is that the mounting template could be clearer, so plan for a careful measurement before drilling.
Patrick Omondi (verified owner) –
Screen surface is even and the 240cm square works well for our presentation room. The RF remote occasionally needs a fresh pair of batteries after heavy use, but otherwise no complaints.
Beatrice Achieng (verified owner) –
Came well packed, no dents. Fitter took about two hours for the dual wall mount. Motor is quiet enough that it does not disturb a meeting while retracting.
Isaac Mutua (verified owner) –
Installed it on the ceiling in our training room. The auto-lock holds the screen at whatever height we stop it, which is handy when the projector throw changes. Metal casing is sturdy and the punching looks clean.
Ruth Chebet (verified owner) –
We replaced a manual pull-down screen with this. The motorised drop is much easier for staff to use, and the auto-lock means the screen stays put during a presentation without drifting.
Mercy Kilonzo (verified owner) –
The RF remote works from the back of the room without pointing at the screen. That alone made it the right pick for our boardroom.
