Description
GaN Multi-Port Desktop Charging
The Lightwave 65W Travel Adapter delivers up to 65 W across three USB Type-C ports with Power Delivery negotiation. A single port reaches the full 65 W rating; two or three connected devices share the total through intelligent distribution. The 2-metre captive cable extends reach from wall outlets to desk level.
Input accepts 100-240 V AC at 50/60 Hz with a 1.5 A maximum, so the unit operates across regional mains voltages. Output profiles cover 5 V/3 A, 9 V/3 A, 12 V/3 A, 15 V/3 A and 20 V/3.25 A. Gallium nitride switching keeps the 74 x 51 x 34 mm chassis at 304 g.
Port sharing follows defined splits: C1 plus C2 yields 45 W and 20 W, C1 plus C3 yields 45 W and 20 W, and C2 plus C3 caps at 18 W total. Protection circuits cover overcurrent, overvoltage, overcharge, overheat and short circuit. The polycarbonate housing carries a 1-year warranty.
Key Features
GaN Switching Topology
Gallium nitride transistors raise switching frequency and reduce thermal losses compared with silicon designs.Three USB-C PD Ports
All three outputs negotiate Power Delivery, and any single port can supply the full 65 W.Intelligent Power Distribution
- C1 + C2 provides 45 W + 20 W
- C1 + C3 provides 45 W + 20 W
- C2 + C3 provides 18 W maximum combined
Universal AC Input
The 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz front end accepts mains from different regions without a step-down converter.2-Metre Captive Cable
The fixed cable extends from wall sockets to desk surfaces and reduces strain on the charger connector.Protection Suite
Overcurrent, overvoltage, overcharge, overheat and short-circuit circuits isolate faults before they reach the load.Compact Polycarbonate Chassis
The 74 x 51 x 34 mm shell weighs 304 g and uses fire-resistant PC material.

Why Choose the LW-CH-L-65W
Gallium nitride switching keeps the 65 W desktop charger compact and cool under sustained load.
Three PD outputs remove the need to carry separate adapters for a laptop, tablet and phone.
Defined dual-port splits prevent overcommitment when two devices demand power at once.
The 100-240 V input range covers Kenyan mains and international travel without a voltage converter.
Overheat and short-circuit protection add a safety layer for shared desk and hotel-room use.
The 2 m captive lead reaches floor-level sockets without an extension cable.

The 65W output handles my ThinkPad and phone at the same time without either slowing down. The three USB-C ports mean I no longer carry two separate chargers in my work bag. Solid little unit.
Catherine Njoki (verified owner) –
The 2m cable is the real winner here. I can charge from a wall socket across the room without an extension. Also useful for shared office setups where desk sockets are far from the seats.

Good charger.

We deployed a few of these in our shared desk area. Staff swap between phones and laptops without hunting for the right brick. The 65W port recharges a Dell work laptop in about ninety minutes. One small ask would be a UK plug adapter in the box since half our team travels to the UK.
Kevin Otieno (verified owner) –
Took about four days to reach us in Kisumu. The 2m cable is a bonus because most chargers only give you half a metre. GaN build stays cool even after an hour of charging the laptop.
Grace Achieng (verified owner) –
The GaN design makes it much lighter than my old 65W brick. Fits nicely in the laptop sleeve. Charging speeds match what the spec sheet says.
Amina Hassan (verified owner) –
Bought it for travel between Nairobi and Mombasa. The PD negotiation works with my MacBook Air and iPad. The plug does get a bit warm when all three ports are loaded, but nothing alarming. Would recommend for anyone moving around with multiple devices.
Peter Mwenda (verified owner) –
Used it at a conference in Nakuru running a projector and two phones off it through the day. Held up well. The ports are clearly labeled so allocating the 65W to the laptop and 20W to phones is simple.
