USB-C Headset for Unified Communications Desks
The Jabra Evolve2 30 SE USB-C terminates in a native USB Type-C connector and enumerates as a plug-and-play audio device on Windows, macOS and Linux. The SE revision adds 48% more passive noise isolation than the first-generation Evolve2 30 and cuts background noise on calls by a further 12%. It ships as a UC Stereo variant with dual ear cups and a 1.5 m cable.
Each ear cup carries a 28 mm moving-coil driver rated at 115 dB sensitivity for 1 mW at 1 kHz and 30 mW maximum input. Playback spans 20 Hz to 20 kHz in music mode and 100 Hz to 12 kHz in speech mode. The microphone array pairs one analog MEMS capsule with one analog ECM capsule at -38 dBV/Pa and -33 dBV/Pa respectively.
The stereo frame weighs 125 g with the cable attached and 102 g without it. A stainless-steel headband and aluminium slider carry leatherette cushions over memory foam. The integrated busylight stays visible from all angles around the ear cup. Jabra SafeTone limits peak and average acoustic exposure for users on extended shifts.
