Description
Layer 2 Gigabit Access for SME and Branch Networks
The Huawei S220-48T4X switch combines 48 gigabit copper access ports with four 10GE SFP+ uplinks in a 1U rack-mountable chassis. It targets SME, branch, hospitality, education and surveillance networks that need managed Layer 2 access with fibre aggregation.
Each RJ45 port negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps and supports auto-MDI/MDIX. The four SFP+ cages accept 10GE transceivers or DAC/AOC cables and auto-sense to 1GE for legacy fibre. A 176 Gbps switching capacity and 131 Mpps forwarding rate support line-rate gigabit access.
The built-in AC power supply removes an external adapter and accepts 100–240 V AC input. Left-to-right airflow and intelligent fan speed control handle thermal load in wiring closets. The metal chassis measures 442 × 220 × 43.6 mm and weighs 2.71 kg without packaging.
