Description
15.6-Inch Gaming Platform
The HP Victus 15 RTX 3050 pairs a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12650H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB GPU for 1080p gaming and content creation. A 15.6-inch FHD display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 250 nits brightness keeps motion clear during fast-paced titles.
Dual-channel DDR4-3200 memory runs in two SODIMM slots, and the 512 GB PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD delivers quick boot times and fast level loads. Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless connectivity, while integrated Gigabit Ethernet provides a wired option for low-latency sessions.
Cooling uses HP’s updated thermal design with dual fans and wide heat pipes. The 4-cell 70 Wh battery supports fast charging to 50% in 30 minutes, and the 200 W Smart AC adapter supplies enough headroom for sustained GPU loads. The chassis weighs from 2.29 kg and measures 35.7 x 25.5 x 2.35 cm.

Why Choose the Victus 15
The 10-core i7-12650H and 6 GB RTX 3050 handle modern games at 1080p with ray tracing enabled.
A 144 Hz display reduces motion blur in fast-paced titles and provides smoother desktop scrolling.
Dual SODIMM slots and a single M.2 slot allow memory and storage upgrades after purchase.
Wi-Fi 6E and Gigabit Ethernet give flexible options for online play and large downloads.
The 70 Wh battery and fast-charge support extend unplugged sessions between charges.

I use this mostly for AutoCAD and light gaming after work. The RTX 3050 handles the 3D viewports without stutter and the i7 keeps renders moving. Thermals stay reasonable with a cooling pad under it. The 512GB SSD is enough for my projects, and I added an external drive for archives. Very good all-rounder if you need both work and play in one machine.

The 15.6-inch screen is clear and the colours look fine for both office work and streaming. It is on the heavier side for daily commuting, so I leave it at the desk mostly. Battery lasts about four hours of mixed use, which is acceptable for a gaming machine.

Solid build for the price. Delivery came sealed and well packed.

Bought it for my son who is doing a computer science degree. Fast boot, no lag on his coding apps, and the keyboard backlight is useful for late-night study. Only gripe is 8GB RAM fills up quickly with many browser tabs, so we will add a stick.

Picked this up for gaming and some video editing work. The i7-12650H handles Premiere exports without choking, and the RTX 3050 6GB runs most titles at 1080p on high settings. Fans do get audible under sustained load, but nothing alarming.
