Expandable Tower Desktop for Office Fleets
The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 is a tower business desktop built on the Intel Q370 chipset with an 8th Gen Core i7-8700. Six cores run at 3.2 GHz base and reach 4.6 GHz on Turbo Boost. A 500 GB 7200 rpm SATA drive holds the operating system and line-of-business applications.
One 8 GB DDR4-2666 module occupies the first of four DIMM slots, and the platform accepts up to 64 GB. Three M.2 sockets and four PCIe 3.0 slots leave room for NVMe storage, a discrete graphics card and a capture or serial card. Two 3.5-inch bays and one 2.5-inch bay carry additional drives.
Front I/O covers a USB-C port at 10 Gbps, two USB-A ports at 10 Gbps, one USB 2.0 port with fast charging, plus headset and headphone jacks. The rear panel adds two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs, two USB-A at 5 Gbps, two USB 2.0 ports and an RJ-45 socket. A 250 W internal supply runs at up to 92 percent efficiency.
