Description
24-Inch FHD Display with Integrated Conferencing Hardware
The HP 524pm conferencing monitor combines a 23.8-inch IPS panel with a Poly Studio 5MP pop-up webcam and dual 3W speakers. It carries a native 1920 x 1080 resolution at 100 Hz. A single USB-C cable delivers video, data and up to 100W of power to a connected notebook.
The panel reaches 350 nits of brightness with a 1500:1 contrast ratio and 100% sRGB coverage. A 5 ms gray-to-gray response time with overdrive keeps cursor movement and video playback clean. The anti-glare coating carries a 3H hardness rating and 25% haze. HP Eye Ease filters blue light without shifting the colour balance.
Input connectors cover one HDMI, two DisplayPort and two USB-C ports. A built-in USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub provides four USB-A ports for peripherals. The integrated KVM switch lets one keyboard and mouse control two connected computers. Daisy chaining passes the signal to a second Series 5 Pro display over DisplayPort.

The USB-C port delivers 100W to my work laptop and carries the display signal over one cable. Desk is much cleaner now. The 5MP webcam is a big step up from my old laptop cam — my Teams calls are noticeably sharper.

Set this up in our boardroom for hybrid meetings. The built-in webcam and mic array handle video calls without extra peripherals. Only note is that the stand could use more height range, but it works for seated use.

Good conferencing monitor for the price. The 5MP camera and Windows Hello support save time at sign-in. The privacy shutter is a handy touch.

Bought for my home office. The 24-inch FHD panel is clear for spreadsheets and the USB-C charging means I don’t need a separate dock. Camera quality surprised me for a monitor build.

This replaced a separate webcam, dock and monitor on my desk. The USB-C single-cable setup works cleanly with my MacBook and the camera is good enough for client calls. The panel is bright and colour is decent for general office work.
