Description

Four-Line Executive Desk Phone

The Grandstream GXP2140 IP phone is a four-line executive desk phone with four SIP accounts. It pairs a 4.3-inch TFT color LCD at 480 x 272 with five XML-programmable softkeys. Dual switched Gigabit ports carry voice and PC traffic through one wall drop.

The handset and speakerphone both run HD audio across G.722, Opus, G.729A/B, G.711 and iLBC codecs. Bluetooth 2.1 links headsets and mobile contacts, and the RJ9 port drives Plantronics EHS headsets. A USB port handles contact import and export.

Power arrives from an 802.3af PoE switch or the bundled 12V adapter, and the phone draws 6W maximum. The stand offers two viewing angles, and a wall-mount option suits corridors. Zero-touch provisioning runs through TR-069 or AES-encrypted XML, so fleets deploy without manual key entry.

Key Features

  • Four Lines, Four Accounts
Four line keys each register a separate SIP account for shared or private extensions.

  • 4.3-Inch TFT Display
The 480 x 272 panel shows call state, directory entries and XML applications.

  • Gigabit Dual-Port Switch
Two auto-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps ports pass PC traffic without a second cable run.

  • Expansion Module Support

    • Accepts up to four GXP2200EXT boards
    • Each board adds 20 dual-color BLF and speed-dial keys
    • Every module draws under 1.2W
  • Bluetooth and EHS
Bluetooth 2.1 syncs headsets and mobile contacts, while the RJ9 port supports Plantronics EHS.

  • Security Stack

    • SRTP media encryption and TLS signalling
    • AES-encrypted configuration files
    • 802.1x media access control with MD5 authentication
  • Five-Way Conferencing
The host handset bridges four additional parties in a single local conference.
