Description
High-Capacity Black Ink for WorkForce Pro Fleets
The Epson T9741 black cartridge supplies 1,520.5 ml of black ink to WorkForce Pro WF-C869R series devices. It is an original Epson XXL ink pack intended for sustained office output. Epson rates the unit at up to 86,000 A4 pages at 5% coverage.
The sealed pack connects directly to the printer’s replaceable ink pack system. Technicians swap only the black unit, so the cyan, magenta and yellow packs remain in place during a mid-cycle change. An integrated chip reports remaining ink and triggers low-supply warnings on the printer control panel.
Shared departmental printers, school reprographics rooms and light production floors fit this XXL supply model. Longer intervals between replacements reduce intervention on devices with high monthly volumes. Keep the pack sealed until installation and store it away from direct sunlight.
Key Features
1,520.5 ml Black Ink Capacity
Each pack carries enough black ink for extended print runs without a mid-volume replacement.Up to 86,000 A4 Pages
Epson rates yield at 5% page coverage, so actual output varies with document density and driver settings.Replaceable Ink Pack System
The pack slots into the WF-C869R ink supply bay without tools or manual refilling.Single-Channel Replacement
Black depletes faster in mono-heavy workflows, and this pack lets technicians replace only that channel.WorkForce Pro WF-C869R Compatibility
- WorkForce Pro WF-C869R
- WorkForce Pro WF-C869RDTWF
- WorkForce Pro WF-C869RD3TWFC
Ink Level Reporting
The pack communicates remaining volume to the printer, which supports planned replenishment instead of emergency ordering.

Why Choose the T9741 XXL Pack
The 1,520.5 ml black pack supports months of mono-heavy output on a shared WorkForce Pro device.
Original Epson consumables match the printer’s ink delivery and chip logic, which avoids compatibility faults.
A single-channel replacement plan keeps colour packs undisturbed and simplifies consumable audits.
The 86,000-page rating at 5% coverage gives procurement a predictable yield baseline for budgeting.
Fatuma Ali (verified owner) –
Works perfectly with our WF-C869R. The 1,520.5 ml capacity means less downtime and the 86,000 pages claim seems realistic based on our usage. Only minor gripe is the initial setup took a moment to prime, but smooth sailing after.
Samuel Otieno (verified owner) –
Was hesitant about the XXL size but it’s worth it for our print volume. Delivery was quick and the cartridge was well packaged. Prints are sharp and no smudging so far.
Grace Njeri (verified owner) –
The page yield is no joke. We run a busy office and this cartridge has kept the WF-C869R going for months without constant swaps. Genuine Epson quality shows in the crisp black text.
