Description
Detachable Slate with Keyboard Dock
The Dynabook K50 2-in-1 pairs a 10.1-inch touchscreen slate with a detachable keyboard base. Intel’s Celeron N4020, 4 GB of soldered memory and 64 GB of flash storage drive the unit. A capacitive panel accepts multi-touch input and an optional active electrostatic pen.
The N4020 runs two cores at a 1.10 GHz base clock and reaches 2.80 GHz in burst mode. The WXGA panel resolves 1280 x 800 across a wide-viewing-angle TFT layer with LED backlight. Memory is fixed at 4 GB and cannot be expanded. Storage holds 64 GB of flash, and Windows 11 Pro installs on that volume.
The slate weighs about 610 g and the dock brings the combined figure to roughly 1.18 kg. A JEITA-rated battery reaches about 16 hours, which covers a shift away from mains power. Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0 handle wireless links. The tablet carries USB-C and a combo audio jack; the dock adds two USB 2.0 Type-A ports.

Why Choose the K50
The detachable design covers two roles on one purchase order: a slate for walk-around checks and a keyboard unit for desk work.
A 1.18 kg travel weight suits field staff who move between branches without a trolley bag.
Sixteen hours of rated runtime removes the midday hunt for a spare socket on site visits.
The combo audio jack and USB-C port on the slate keep headsets and storage reachable in tablet mode.
A 1280 x 800 panel keeps interface elements legible on legacy line-of-business applications.
The 17 mm key pitch reduces typing errors for staff who draft reports on the move.

The touchscreen is responsive and the 10-inch size is handy for reading and light browsing. The 2-in-1 design means I can flip it into tablet mode when I travel.
Joseph Omondi (verified owner) –
Good little device for the office reception. Handles email and light documents well. The Celeron and 4GB RAM are fine for basic tasks but not for heavy multitasking.
Catherine Njeri (verified owner) –
Bought it for my daughter’s school work and it has been reliable. The 64GB storage fills up quickly, so I added a memory card. Touchscreen works well and the battery lasts through a school day.
David Kiplagat (verified owner) –
Nice compact tablet for light use. The screen is clear and the build feels solid. I use it mainly for streaming and reading, and it handles those without issues.
Esther Muthoni (verified owner) –
I have been using this 2-in-1 for about six weeks now, mainly for emails, light browsing, and video calls. The touchscreen responds well, and the keyboard attach works fine for typing documents. The 4GB RAM is adequate for basic office tasks, though I would not push it with many browser tabs open. The 10-inch display is bright enough for indoor use. Overall, a practical device for students or light office work.
