Micro-tower business desktop with 6th Gen Core i7
The Dell OptiPlex 7050 MT is a micro-tower business desktop built on the Intel Q270 chipset with a 6th Gen Core i7-6700 processor. It ships with 8GB of DDR4-2133 memory and a 500GB 7200rpm hard drive. Four DIMM slots support upgrades to 64GB, and the tool-less chassis opens without a screwdriver.
The i7-6700 runs four cores and eight threads at 3.4 GHz base and 4.0 GHz Turbo, with 8MB of L3 cache. Intel HD Graphics 530 drives the two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs and the HDMI 1.4 port. A 240W internal power supply feeds the board and expansion cards.
Ten external USB ports cover peripherals: six USB 3.1 Gen1 (including one Type-C for data) and four USB 2.0. One front USB port supports PowerShare charging. The micro-tower measures 35 x 15.4 x 27.4 cm and accepts a low-profile graphics card in the PCIe x16 slot.

Received the OptiPlex in good condition, box was intact. Boots quickly enough with the HDD. Note that the 8GB RAM is fine for office apps but if you plan to run heavy accounting software you may want to add a stick. Otherwise good value for a second-hand business PC.
