The Dell Inspiron 3470 SFF is a small form factor desktop built around a six-core 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8400 processor and the Intel H370 chipset. It measures 292 x 290 x 92.6 mm and weighs 4.8 kg, so the chassis sits under a monitor or on a shelf without consuming desk depth.
The i5-8400 runs at 2.8 GHz base and reaches 4.0 GHz with Turbo Boost across six cores and six threads. A 9 MB L3 cache and DDR4-2666 memory support office suites, browsers and line-of-business clients. Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives the HDMI 1.4 and VGA outputs, allowing two displays without a discrete card.
Storage ships as a 500 GB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive, with a 3.5-inch bay and two 2.5-inch bays available for expansion. A tray-load DVD writer handles optical media. The 200 W internal power supply accepts 100-240 V AC input and removes the external adapter common to mini PCs.
