Description
2MP Wireless Turret for Retail and Perimeter Sites
The Dahua T2A-LED camera pairs a 1/3-inch CMOS sensor with a dual warm-light illuminator and a built-in microphone. It streams 1080p over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and records to a microSD card of up to 256 GB. The IP67 housing suits exposed mounting points.
The 2 MP imager resolves 1920 x 1080 at 25 or 30 fps on the main stream. A fixed M12 lens ships in 2.8 mm or 3.6 mm at F1.6. The wider option covers 98 degrees horizontally, while the 3.6 mm narrows that to 78 degrees.
Two warm-light LEDs reach 30 m and switch automatically against ambient level. H.265 encoding drops the low-end bit rate to 12 kbps. A 12 VDC input draws 2 W at baseline and 5.8 W with the illuminators at full output.
Key Features
2MP Progressive CMOS Sensor
The 1/3-inch imager outputs 1920 x 1080 at 25 or 30 fps with an electronic shutter of 1/3 s to 1/100,000 s.Dual Warm-Light Illuminators
Two LEDs light the scene up to 30 m and switch on automatically under low ambient conditions.Wi-Fi 4 Backhaul
The 802.11b/g/n radio operates across 2.4-2.4835 GHz and removes the need for a cable run to the recorder.Encoding and Stream Profiles
- H.264B, H.264, H.264H and H.265 codecs with two simultaneous streams.
- H.264 bit rate spans 32 kbps to 4096 kbps; H.265 spans 12 kbps to 4096 kbps.
- Sub stream runs at 640 x 480 for low-bandwidth remote preview.
AI Human Detection
The classifier separates human targets from other motion and triggers alarms on that basis.Built-in Microphone
Audio compression covers G.711a, G.711Mu, PCM and G.726 for one-way sound capture.Onboard Edge Storage
The microSD slot accepts cards up to 256 GB and keeps recording through a wireless outage.Image Correction Suite
DWDR, 3D noise reduction, backlight compensation, auto white balance and 0 or 180 degree rotation run on the camera.Management Software
Smart PSS, DSS and the DMSS mobile client on iOS and Android handle configuration and live view.

Why Choose the T2A-LED
The wireless turret needs no cable run to the recorder, which cuts labour on retrofit retail sites.
Warm-light illumination keeps colour detail at night instead of dropping to monochrome.
Human classification reduces false alarms from passing animals and moving foliage.
Edge recording on a 256 GB card holds coverage through a link failure.
CE-LVD, CE-EMC and CE-RED certification supports compliance sign-off in regulated markets.

Compact and does the job. The mic is sensitive, so mount it away from the road or you will hear every matatu passing.

The audio is clear and the warm light gives good colour at night. Only issue is the light takes a second to come on after detection, so the very first frame is still dark.

Replaced an old analogue camera with this. The Wi-Fi means I did not have to run new cable to the back of the house. The app setup was quick and I can view it from the office. Happy with it so far.

The warm light is bright and the mic works, but if you mount it close to a wall the light reflects and washes out the image at night. Moved mine slightly and it was fine. Picture is good in daylight.

Bought two for the shop. One at the till and one at the entrance. Delivery came within the week and the packaging was intact. The warm light doubles as a small security light at night, which saves me from installing a separate lamp. The 2MP image is sharp enough to identify customers at the counter.

Works well for the price. The turret shape makes it less obvious than a bullet camera, which I prefer.

Wi-Fi pairing took a few tries but once connected it has been stable. The built-in mic picks up sound clearly from the gate. Two-way talk through the app is handy for telling the delivery guy where to leave parcels.

The warm light is a nice touch. It comes on when someone approaches and the picture switches to colour, so you can actually see faces instead of grey IR footage. Installed it on the veranda and it works well.
