Plug-and-Play Desktop Switch for Small Network Segments
The Dahua SF1008L switch provides eight 10/100 Mbps adaptive RJ-45 ports in a desktop plastic housing. It requires no configuration and forwards frames at 1.1904 Mpps. The 1.6 Gbit/s switching fabric handles full wire-speed traffic across all ports simultaneously.
Each port auto-negotiates speed, duplex mode and MDI/MDI-X crossover, so straight-through and crossover cables work interchangeably. A 2K MAC address table and 768 kbit packet buffer absorb bursty traffic from IP cameras, access points and office endpoints. The unit runs from a 5 VDC, 1 A external adapter.
Power draw idles at 0.1 W and peaks at 0.75 W under full load. The enclosure measures 132.9 × 62.4 × 24.0 mm and weighs 0.16 kg. Air-discharge ESD protection reaches 8 kV and common-mode lightning protection reaches 2 kV. Operating temperature spans 0 °C to +45 °C.
