Description
Wireless Presentation for Meeting Rooms
The Dahua PKP-WP08 wireless screen sharing dongle transmits a computer desktop to a display over an 802.11 a/g/n radio. It accepts input at 1920 × 1200 and outputs 1920 × 1080. A single button starts projection without driver installation.
The USB 2.0 Type-A interface draws 5 VDC at 2.5 W. The radio operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with a 54 Mbps data rate. Transmission delay stays below 120 ms. WPA2-PSK authentication and CCMP encryption protect the wireless link.
Windows 7, 8 and 10 hosts connect, along with Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7 or later. Frame rates reach 25 fps at 1080p on Windows and 30 fps on iOS. The 63.3 g body measures 61 × 156 × 17 mm, and the link covers up to 15 m.

What’s in the Box
PKP-WP08 wireless screen sharing dongle
Quick start guide
Why Choose the PKP-WP08
Removes HDMI and VGA cabling from shared tables and huddle rooms.
The 120 ms delay keeps cursor movement usable during live annotation.
Dual-band operation reduces interference in dense office Wi-Fi environments.
Native macOS and Windows support avoids driver deployment across mixed fleets.
Faith Njeri Karanja (verified owner) –
We use it in a classroom setup with mixed Windows and Mac laptops. The macOS 10.6 support matters for our older staff machines and it has not failed once in three weeks of daily use. Build feels solid enough for a shared device that gets handed around.
Peter Mwaura (verified owner) –
Our trainers move between three rooms and this dongle travels with them. Range is the real win — 15 m covers the whole training centre floor without dropouts. Wish the USB cable were slightly longer but that is minor.
Wanjiku Mwangi (verified owner) –
Plugged the dongle into our boardroom TV and it picked up the presenter laptop within seconds. No drivers, no IT ticket. The 15 m range holds up even when someone walks to the far end of the room.
Dennis Kamau (verified owner) –
Honest take: it is a straightforward 1080p wireless share device and it does exactly that. Windows 10 laptops connect without fuss. I would have liked a status LED that is easier to see from across the room, but functionally it is sound and the range is genuinely useful in a large hall.
Brian Otieno (verified owner) –
Works as advertised. 1080p output is clean on our training room projector and the USB 2.0 connection is stable. Delivery to Westlands took two days.
Amina Hassan (verified owner) –
Set it up in our Mombasa Road office meeting room. The plug-and-play claim is genuine — no software install on the host laptop at all. One thing to note: it outputs 1080p only, so do not expect 4K on newer panels. For standard conference use that is fine and the picture is sharp.
Samuel Kiprop (verified owner) –
Good little unit for the price bracket. Handles PowerPoint and video clips without noticeable lag.

Ordered for our procurement team’s weekly reviews. Does the job, connects fast, and the pairing is consistent. Arrived well packaged.
